Patients w/ orthostatic hypotension, serious hepatic & severe renal dysfunction. History of severe hypersensitivity to sulfonamide. May decrease BP in orthostatic position. Closely monitor BP changes during treatment & occurring w/ postural changes. Patients taking antihypertensive drugs. Intraoperative floppy iris syndrome (IFIS) during cataract surgery. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Elderly.
May cause orthostatic hypotension w/ antihypertensives. May enhance AR w/ strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (eg, ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, indinavir sulfate, clarithromycin).
